The Holiday Mode setting enables seller to manage orders but still allows login access to Seller Center to fulfil existing order operations.
You are encouraged to use this during festive holiday, stock taking activity, or any events which require store closure for operation reasons.
How do I set up holiday mode?
Step 1:Go to Holiday Mode in Profile page
Step 2: Key in the start date and end date
• We recommend that you set the start date of the holiday mode at least 3 days in advance (excluding weekends) to provide yourself ample time to process the existing orders that are on the usual Ship On Time countdown. You will not receive any new orders for your specified time period.
Step 3: A pop-up will be triggered for you to verify the holiday mode period.
Step 4: Enable the Holiday Mode. Toggle the button to activate it and you are set!
FAQs
When exactly does holiday mode start and end?
At 00:00 hours of the start date selected, and at 23:59 hours of the end date selected.
Can the start date be in the past?
No, the start date cannot be in the past. The earliest date your may select to activate holiday mode is the next day.
E.g. On 13 May 2020, seller can only select 14 May 2020 as the earliest start date.
Will I be able to log in and access Seller Center after activating holiday mode?
Yes, you will still be able to log in to and access Seller Centre after activating holiday mode.
Can I deactivate the holiday mode earlier than the end date?
Yes, you can deactivate by toggling the switch off.
What is the longest period I can set Holiday mode for?
For Holiday mode with store open & only fulfilment extension, the maximum period is 14 days.
Can I initiate Ready to Ship if I have activated Holiday Mode?
We advise sellers to only initiate Ready to Ship when the parcels are physically ready for handover to the courier partner.
