Overview of Prohibited and Controlled Products Policy

The objective of this policy is to build the trust and confidence in our buyers when they shop on Lazada.

You may not post or sell any item that is restricted or prohibited by a federal, state or local law in your country or jurisdiction. Below, we have listed some categories of prohibited or restricted items. However, this list is not exhaustive; as a seller, you are responsible for ensuring that you are not posting any item that is prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.

Sellers are monitored for compliance to Lazada Seller Policies. At the same time, depending on the severity of the violation, Lazada may take measures such as locking of listed products, account restrictions and withholding or confiscation of proceeds in the Seller Account. 

It is important to note that a seller will face account deactivation once they accumulate 48 non-compliance points or more. Depending on the severity, under some circumstances, Lazada may make the decision to deactivate seller accounts immediately even if the seller has not accumulated the maximum number of non-compliance points. If you have received a notification that you had violated our policy and you would like to file appeal request, you may do so in the Growth Center.
